YAY! My first award post I was nominated to do. Welcome to the Sunshine Blogger Award! How exciting. Thanks to the fabulous Kali for the nomination. Y’all go check out her blog I’m serious. It’s wonderful! Her site is so colorful and fun and it’s hard to leave her page. She always has something exciting going on and I’m always looking for her next blog post

Just a heads up this is my first award post so bare with me, but this is such a fun post idea to get our community involved and I feel so special to be apart of it. I would’ve gotten to this sooner but her comment telling me about this was in my spam comments (why is that a thing)? ): So better late then never and if you can’t tell already I’m super excited! And yes I did take my photo in my header. I was in Destin, FL with my family on a sunset boat cruise so that worked out perfectly. Sunsets are so mesmerizing.

1. WHAT DOES OUR BLOG NAME MEAN?

My blog name is my real name. I have heard it before that some people don’t like using their real names but technically it's not my real name if you saw my older post “10 facts about me”. I’ve always loved the name Cassie Morgan and will do big things with it one day (: (my middle name is Morgan) I joke sometimes and say I was named after the infamous Captain Morgan spiced rum haha.

2. IF YOU COULD SWAP LIVES WITH ANYONE FOR A DAY, WHO WOULD IT BE?

This one is tricky because there are sooooo many people. I look up to a famous blogger by the name of Cara Loren and she is always doing fun things and she is who I shadow, but I wouldn’t want to “swap with her” so I’m gonna have to go with Selena Gomez. I adore her.

3. WHAT’S THE LAST TOPIC YOU JOURNAL ABOUT?

I don’t keep a journal but the last thing I spent at least 45 minutes on was my grocery list the other day. I had to research the best of the best lol. Everyone was looking at me weird with a grocery list in the store? Why? People still use them!

4. IF YOU COULD LIVE IN A BOOK, WHICH WOULD IT BE?

Oh my GOSH hands down it would be “Fifty shades” oh c’mon we were all thinking it. I’m not crazy about reading and the last time I read a book was on a long plane ride like three years ago.

5. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SCENT?

Tease by Victoria Secret. I get complimented pretty much every single time I wear it. Never lets me down and it stays on all day!

6. WHAT’S ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE YOUR BEST FRIEND?

A mommy. My best friend recently had a baby and I moved away so I never see her anymore, but thank goodness for FB because she’s always posting on there, and I can see what a great Mom she is to her little girl. Jess if you read this I’m obviously talking about you (:

7. HOW MANY DRAFTS ARE SAVED IN YOUR WORDPRESS?

ZERO. I don’t schedule anything unless it’s for the very next day but all my posts are real time. I love the in the moment ideas because I can write 100% better then if it was a future post. I’m not against it, just not for me.

8. HOW MANY MAKEUP BRUSHES DO YOU OWN?

One for every type of swirl, brush, sweep, and swoop. lol so probably like 20. Is that a lot? Professional makeup bloggers have probably triple that!

9. WHERE ARE YOU SITTING RIGHT NOW?

On my couch in my apartment all alone wiping my tears off my face. (that sounds so sad) Gosh I’m sorry lol but no I’m not crying I just have a cold that is kicking me in the arse!

10. WHO DO YOU ADMIRE THE MOST?

My parents. So cliche I know but I have learned everything from those masterminds. They are coming to Asheville to visit me one week from today so I’m so happy about that. I haven’t seen them in over a month !

11. WHAT’S THE LAST FUN THING YOU’VE DONE?

My last blog post. Bellyaking down the river. I’m serious it’s a thing. I think the COLD water is what possibly got me sick…but it was worth it! I swear I’m not a baby when I’m sick and it kinda seems that way cause I’m bringing it up a lot but I’m just giving you the facts.
